"With its height of 1200m over sea level, the Hintereggeralm is a tail from the death mountains ("Totes Gebirge") at the "Hochangern inside the "Ennstal".  The Hintereggeralm is located at the north side of Liezen in Styria/Austria, which is the district capital and lies at the bottom of the "Hochangern-Gebirgsstock" (mountain peaks) in a height of 1150m up to 1350m over sea level. The entire area of the Hintereggeralm is approx. 184 ha of size. Neverthless, only 10ha of it is covered with forest. The rest of the land is meadow for about 200 cattles. You can imagine what  incredible sights are awaiting its visitors! Until to the present day there are 19 alpin cabins counted. Some of them are private property and some of them are used as taverns or guesthouses. Anyway, somehow the locals named the upper part of that area "heaven", whereas the  lower part they  just call "hell". " (Source:
